Evalyn Shea, Owner & President
Evalyn established Shea Writing and Training Solutions in 1997 and has built a solid family of clients, primarily through referrals. Growing from one to a staff of over 20 writers, editors, and designers, Shea Writing and Training Solutions is now a $2.5 million company, meeting the needs of clients domestically and internationally.Shea Writing and Training Solutions is certified as a woman-owned business by the Women's Business Enterprise Alliance, and, as one of the premier small businesses of the area, Shea was included on the Houston Business Journal’s list of Houston Fast 100 Growing Companies in the years 2000 and 2007. Evalyn’s strong belief in community is evident in her highly active participation and leadership roles across various boards and associations, including:

Evalyn resides with her husband in Southwest Houston and is very proud of her two brilliant daughters. She enjoys reading, sewing, and walks in nature, and she looks forward to learning to golf.

Ian Robinson, Vice President, Finance
Vice President of Finance since August of 2001, Ian manages all client contract and Accounts Receivable and is the key contact for vendors and Accounts Payable matters. He also directs the Human Resources functions at Shea.
Ian was born in West Yorkshire, England, and he attended Bradford College in England and Auckland University in New Zealand, majoring in finance. Prior to joining the Shea staff, he worked in the banking industry for 21 years, handling both corporate and commercial accounts in England, New Zealand, and Australia.
Ian and his wife live in Southwest Houston, and he has two beautiful daughters who are currently in college in New Zealand. His top three hobbies are golf, golf, and golf.

Peggy Krohn, Vice President Operations
In January of 2004, Peggy joined the Shea team as a contractor. Six months later, she moved into an operational role. Her management experience in organizational improvement, technical documentation, and instructional design and delivery in a variety of industries has qualified her as an expert in technical documentation and training materials design. She has earned a Master of Science in Occupational Education, specializing in instructional design for adult training and development.
Peggy and her husband live in Montrose in a 96-year-old home. She has two sons and three step sons, but Archie (canine) and Maddie and Tri (felines) run the household.

Leslie Mohr, Production Manager
Leslie joined the Shea staff in January of 2006 as the Project Manager for Panhandle Energy, and although she continues to work with her original clients, she has since been named Production Manager of Shea Writing and Training Solutions. Leslie is in charge of the day-to-day operations of the company, helping project managers resolve issues, managing the work-flow of projects, and working with the staff to keep us on target and on time.
Leslie earned her BS in Geology from West Virginia University, and she began her professional career as a geologist, working in a lab and writing procedures and technical reports. She has also worked for an environmental company that put together reports for OSHA, and for seven years, she worked with the space program, writing procedures for experiments for NASA’s space shuttles and the space station.
A happily married mother of three adult children, Leslie’s finest accomplishment, in her eyes, is her family.
